“國際青年學者地質學論壇”旨在面向海内外邀請地質學領域的優秀青年學者，圍繞地球科學前沿和熱點研究展開學術讨論，增強beat365地質科學國際交流與合作，建立優秀國際地質學青年人才的學術交流與合作平台。

一、論壇形式

線上與線下同步。

二、論壇時間

2024年10月15日-10月16日。

三、論壇學科

論壇主要涉及學科：地球與行星動力學、造山帶構造與變質作用、流變學、能源（礦床學、石油地質學、地熱）、高溫高壓實驗與模拟、礦物功能材料學、天體生物學與行星宜居性演化、古生物與地層學、地震地質-活動構造-地貌學、地球碳循環與碳中和等。

四、報名條件

1、年齡在40歲以下；

2、在本領域已經取得學術積累和研究成果，具有較強的學術影響力和發展潛力；

五、申請流程

1、請在beat365官方网站網頁下載并填寫《“國際青年學者地質學論壇. 2024）”報名表》（也見本通知後附有報名表格）。

2、報名表發至各領域召集人郵箱，報名截止日期2024年10月1日。

3、本次論壇将遴選若幹優秀學者，為其提供全額差旅費；

Welcome to Peking University (PKU) "International Young Scholars Geo-Symposium"! Geo-Symposium provides a unique academic platform for communication and coordination among pre-career scientists at home and abroad in earth science. At Geo-Symposium, outstanding scholars may share their cutting-edge research and creative energies with enthusiastic students and professors on PKU campus, which potentially opens up a window to PKU faculty position applications for competitive scientists.

2. Geo-Symposium Disciplines

Earth and planetary dynamics, orogenic structures and metamorphism, rheology, energy (mineral deposit, petroleum geology, geothermal), high-temperature and high-pressure experiments and simulations, mineral functional materials science, astrobiology and planetary habitability evolution, paleontology and stratigraphy, seismic geology-active structures-geomorphology, Earth carbon cycle and carbon neutrality, etc.

3. Qualification requirement

A qualified applicant should fulfill the following:

1) Age under 40 years old.

2)Received a doctoral degree from prestigious university or institute, or holding a doctoral degree from a domestic university or institute and have a minimum of one or two years of overseas research experience.

3) Equipped with outstanding academic achievements.

4. Application procedure

1) Download and complete the application form (Application Form of The Seventh International Young Scholars Geo-Symposium). (Download from website: /index.htm).

2) Send the application form and a Curriculum Vitae to the Email addresses of conveners in different fields.

3) Qualified applicants will receive a formal invitation letter before October 1st, 2024.

4) This forum will provide several outstanding scholars with travel expense reimbursement.
