（1）跟海洋天然氣水合物相關的地質和地球物理研究，包括：天然氣水合物的地震性質，海底構造，海底表面熱流和低溫熱液，傳統地震信号處理，DTAGS（Deep Towed Acoustic and Geophysical System）信号處理，海底地震儀OBS（Ocean Bottom Seismometer）走時反演等。

（2）跟油氣勘探相關的地震岩石物理和測井解釋等方面的研究。

（3）地質問題的數值模型研究，包括有限元分析、反演理論應用等。
